600rr same as F4i as far as stuntworth???

Ok, so being on this site long enough has made me decide to sell my copper sv-650s which I love as it is a torque monster, and go with a honda sportbike for sheer durability and beatability. Being new to stunting I need something that can take a little abuse, and lots of wheelies, as I love being up on one...I am in montana so a good bike comes along about one in a blue moon, but a guy has an 03 600rr cbr for sale, wondering if I should chase it or wait for the f4i? I also have another guy in wyoming a couple hours away that has a 04 gsxr1000 already built for stunting with cage 12bar etc, but I don't know how much life it has left, or how hard it was beat, I am sure the cbr was a canyon carver at worst. Opinions??? Help! P.S. I will be going through idaho washington and oregon in august, anyone have any hondas headed that way for sale??? The sv rocks and was fun for a lot of learning, but the front cylinder starves for oil when up in the air...so I am told by svrider.com anyways...

no gixxer!! garbage stay with honda. f4i well its time tested so can't go wrong with that. still has some issues. cam chain tensioner, some people think front is garbage. as far as the rr, has weak subframe i not 100% on that i know the motors are pushed forward which makes bp a little further back great for endo's. hollow frame where cage mounts it gets bent in after few crashes. thats all i can think of but search this has deff been talked about before

for just learning i would suggest tryin out the F4i, it is pretty much indestructable and probably one of the eastiest bikes to learn to stunt on. The 600rr is a little harder of a bike to learn to stunt but it is very fun cause it has a little more power. Either or both bikes should prove to be pretty reliable.

If you ever have any questions on set-up or need parts for the set-up, check us out at HAIbikeshop.com or feel free to give us a call 407-334-4006

I have an 03' 600rr and am selling it.
Its a great bike don't get me wrong. The power is amazing and its fun to ride. Looks are by far the best out of the 600 class for around that year, if you ask me.
BUT.... Stunting no. The frame is not nearly as bullet proof as the F4I. Stunting the two bikes really don't compare. The f4i is tryed and tested and proved. The rr is alot more work and harder to stunt. It is however meant to be a race bike. So therefore it is meant for the track, everything is set up for max performance. Swingarm etc... The swingarm is made to have such a downward force.. once you try to wheely them it feels alot different then a f4i. Go with the f4i, you'll regret the rr for stunting... like me...

Tight, that is awesome t-ice, nice website, I will be hitting you up, thanks for the info, the more I read on the rr they designed it to stay down for the track, who wants to be on both wheels????

:YEAH

Yup, found my dreambike and bought it after looking over the frame good. It is a 99 cbr f4, with only 2200 miles on it, an old firefighter owned it and commuted once in a while and that is it, I will feel kinda bad stunting it, kinda...

I know your pain mate. I had my 1000RR for stunting and have gone through a ****-fight to turn it into a stunter cos there are hardly any parts out there for my bike. I have FINALLY bitten the bullet and admitted defeat because i now realise that it is a good pro stuntbike, not a great pro stuntbike. I have an F4i already waiting for me as soon as i sell my 1000RR.

My 1000RR loved the wheelies but as soon as i got it considerably past bp it just wasnt really stable and didnt enjoy being there. Also, bp was a fuckload higher than any of my mates (who, ironically enough, ride F4's, etc).
