Fuk the police
Re: *** the police
I've had pretty good luck with them.....**knock on wood**. I think it all has to do with the respect factor. You give respect and they'll give it back. I've been in danger of getting many wreckless tickets and have managed to get out of all of them. Act professional and respectfull and they'll usually return the favor (although there are always exceptions).
Just remember, most cops went into the force because they have an adrenaline addiction and love danger......hey what do you know, there's already one thing you have in common with the officer. Now just give them a little respect for what they do, chat it up with them, and before you know it he'll be at your next show cheering you on.

Re: *** the police
You should of never let them take it. I would have said it they want to run the VIN over the radio, go ahead, its clean (right?), and if they want to do an acid test on the gooseneck and block then i will gladly put it in the back of my truck, drive it down to their little "CSI" lab so they can do the test, and then I take it home, SAME DAY! Now you let them have the ball in their hands by laying down and taking it like a **** it sounds like. You NEED to always ask more questions, and you NEED to try and be resonable with them and you may get out in better shape. My old roommate is a Broward County Sheriff Deputy, and he told me all the "ins and outs of getting out of ****", and the first thing is ask questions, a cop isn't gonna want to deal with someone that is actually gonna fight it in court.

Not good for you.
Re: *** the police
If its all legal, then go out and drink some beers for the next 4 days till you get you sh*t back, if its shady then you might as well wave goodbye. Just learn for next time. Don't let them d*ck you around. Ask more questions. Don't let them take your personal property.

i talk to alll and the people that own the bike before they said no way its been wrecked one time on the right side and thats it ...
Re: *** the police
Patience...if you have nothing to worry about then stop tripping and acting paranoid...at least your in contact with the previous owners so if it is shady it doesn't all fall back on just you
Re: *** the police
Wow...alright, let me get this straight.
You took the bike to get it inspected.
They looked at it and said this looks fishy.
They took your bike and told you to go home.
