Cool. Glad to hear your doing good bro. How high are you getting your rear tire for stoppies? Are you still on dirt tires? Any problems with grip?

a coaster is where you ride behind ballence point and only use the rear brake to keep you there. & you have the clutch pulled in No throttle just rear brake.

You don't need to touch your idle for 12's. You do a wheelie bring it behind ballence point, pull in the clutch & set it on 12 with the rear brake. Your clutch should be pulled in so idle doesn't matter. & Try first gear not second. The slower the better for learning

first ius harder because it hits pb to quickly. with 2nd i can pull it up almost to 12 and lightly give is gas while tappin the brake when needed

Re: Fun ride yesterday

I've never rode a bike like yours. Alot of dirtbikes have a really short first gear so it winds out real quick. If it's really short try the bottom of the power band in second and get it to ballence point quick. But not so quick you loop.

If your rpms are to low your gonna bog & not lift up, and if there to high your gonna wind out the gear by the time you reach ballence point. Try to get it in second gear as low rpms as you can without loosing power.

The key to a good wheelie is by the time you reach balence point your rpms aren't bogging, and there not screaming. Try to find the point in the powerband where you can be in the middle of the two.

Edit: Try going in first gear wind it out, then shift into second but when you let out the clutch comming into second clutch up. This is what I used to do on a few dirtbikes I've rode & worked out good. When I reached ballence point in second it was at the perfect rpms to ride out wheelies.

+1 where are your pics of what youre describing? dont go over your head. The clutch doesnt need to be pulled to ride 12. and what do you mean "set it on 12" ??? riding a 12, and scraping or dragging are 2 diff things

On his dirtbike he is going to stall & spit and sputter if the clutch is not pulled in once it gets close to 12.
