hydraulic clutch on F4i??

Was thinking of putting a hydraulic clutch on the f4i. If i were to get a stock hydro clutch off another bike would it work? Never really looked into it beforte just wondering whos done it. I want to make the shorty lever a little easier, so i can practice longer w/out getting pump

I had a Magura hydraulic clutch on my f4i. I can sell you the kit and everything you will need to hook it up(2 tack welds are needed).

Re: hydraulic clutch on F4i??

might try that, i just heard a few rumors about the pulley system breaking on ppl, thats what steered me away from them before when i was going to try one. Wouldnt be good ina coaster. I can get a Hydro clutch from my buddy off of his old honda toring bike, i didnt know if i could make it work or not. But for the price i think ill try the easy pull and see how it works

Re: hydraulic clutch on F4i??

those ez-pull systems DO BREAK!! the cables wear on the metal casing. all you need is the ez-pull lever http://www.haibikeshop.com/store/ind...roducts_id=738 and a properly adjusted clutch. make sure you have a fresh clutch cable with no kinks or binds in it.

Not rumors! They break. A year or two ago all my friends bought one and I told them that they break. They didn't listen and after 3 of them broke everyone else took them off.

Re: hydraulic clutch on F4i??

they break cause you are suposed to put the grove in the adjuster away from you. if not then it eats cables
