Yes it COULD set a precedent
Hopefully a good one. The lawyer alleges that he does NOT think that the stunts are reckless. In a fair court, it would actually be difficult to prove reckless on a stunt. However, they are going to need more than a traffic ticket to get to a fair court. Traffic court is jacked .. and amounts to the police taking money from you and saying you can't drive because they singled you out (IE: everybody breaks traffic laws).
Any good stuntman can tell you that common everyday people think that stunts are performed as a result of being reckless. When in fact, a pro like the people on the tape, has practiced repetitively to refine his/her(hi Laura) moves.
A court battle could actually be good if it turns in our favor.
People from here could even be called on as expert witnesses to aid the defendant.
A precedent is just what stunners need. Imagine if you could do stunts on public roads in plain view of other people so long as you were not reckless.
Endo at the stoplight right next to the COP. Seriously .. just because it looks to YOU like I'm going to eat it doesn't mean I am. That's why it's called stunnin, fool!
