StuntArmy?
StuntArmy?
Does anyone know if any of the StuntArmy members (Justin "Tong" Woo) post on here? Or where I could find them?
I'm trying to organize an event in the Roanoke area for charity in May, possibly, and would love to try and figure out a way to work some stunting in the mix. I'm trying to get some corporate support for the event, and things are looking good so far... StuntArmy is the only group that I know of in the immediate area. Anyone else in Virginia interested? Would people be interested regardless of whether or not the stunting comes through? I'm looking to do a big group ride and a cookout and everything... I've been propositioning some of the radio stations and seeing if we can get a band to perform, and planning to do some sort of cookout. We don't do things like that around here, so I think it would be a hell of a nice change in pace to get together in masses.

Re: StuntArmy?
I'm working on the details... The whole stunt session is up in the air, as it's obviously a huge thing to get something like that sanctioned for liability.... but I really want this to take off and be a big success. We had 300-400 bikes last year at a dealership sponsored charity event, and I'd love to be bigger and better. So far I've been working solo on this, so any helping hands would be great.
Looking at having food, music, etc.

I was on StuntUSA the other day and can't seem to remember my login while I'm here at work, but I hadn't seen any tremendously recent posts from him lately.

Re: StuntArmy?
I doubt there are active duty army... i mean if they were they're sole purpose wouldnt be to ride ride ride. They have to have a billet. Like in the Marines if your part of the base football team or any of that crap, you get TAD to play (Time Away From Duty... its not leave its 'work' persay)
And the bootcamp thing, that just shows how lax the army is. You get any holiday offa bootcamp, but if you went to MCRD Parris Island or San Diego, youre lucky if you get to write a letter home. AND If i were to join the army, i dont have to go to boot camp, because i already went through the Marines.
Just shows who the war fighting force really is.
