Oh wow, this thread made me laugh.
I was in the Army also, Infantry, was in a Scout/Sniper Platoon yada yada. I have friends in the USMC and have met plenty of them while I was active service. Not exactly the most hardcore bunch that you describe there hot shot.
Not saying much by that, just can't stand that Marine bullshit.
What makes you a good soldier is doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Being a silent professional.
Not ******* you, but you need to re-evaluate what you say. Either way, all branches are making sacrafices right now.

Does anyone know if any of the StuntArmy members (Justin "Tong" Woo) post on here? Or where I could find them?
I'm trying to organize an event in the Roanoke area for charity in May, possibly, and would love to try and figure out a way to work some stunting in the mix. I'm trying to get some corporate support for the event, and things are looking good so far... StuntArmy is the only group that I know of in the immediate area. Anyone else in Virginia interested? Would people be interested regardless of whether or not the stunting comes through? I'm looking to do a big group ride and a cookout and everything... I've been propositioning some of the radio stations and seeing if we can get a band to perform, and planning to do some sort of cookout. We don't do things like that around here, so I think it would be a hell of a nice change in pace to get together in masses.

A marine can tell me his boot camp sucks when he was deployed to Iraq for 15months strait, been hit by 4 ieds and 1 VBIED , watched 6 of his friends dies in person and half of his company has purple hearts...
All I have to say is Training is hard? what? whats bootcamp? face it bootcamp for marines/army/navy/airforce... .none of that matters in war all that basic teaches you is how to stand at parade rest and salute. It's all a joke. So don't act like your a BADASS MARINE JARHEAD HOORAH unless you've actualy done something to be badass.. and no dropping a "DI packet" is not badass it just means your good at yelling at people.

If you have never been in combat shut your mouth...
Unless you have been to war you have no room to be poppin off at the mouth..
