idle..... how important?
Re: idle..... how important?
i run a 50t in the rear with 3500rpms lot and 1500rpms street. i dont drag the break i just tap when needed in the lot and for high speed whoolies. i learned to catch idle w/o a 12bar and i still dont run one. i like scrappin exhaust. in the lot i just come to almost a complete stop, clutch it, let it come back and let idle catch. i tap the break when it goes back and blip the throttle enough to go past BP then slip the clutch and let idle catch again when it starts to drop. id say i coast around slow more than pull along at idle. that is just the way i learned. $0.02

no doubt ,yeah Ive been playin with that setup for like 2 yrs now @ first it was outta control ,well it still is but i kinda got under control ,ya know? what I do is just put it in first w/ clutch pulled in while idles at like 3 blip the throttle a little bit at the same time i slip it a little bit and its right up there . The first couple warm ups usually result in goriila scrapin. But I hear ya on the medium I think Im gonna setup a 636 i got @ the shop with 15 up..
