Re: Race rails Power stuntworks

i had a super fast lowside on em, on some pretty ruff surface... and i have the round end sliders, that **** only put a small scratch on my lower fairing. the bike hopped up off of the ground on the side, and then slapped back down, (surface was really fucked up) and came to a stop. bike is all good, and the round slider barely took a flat-spot.:YEAH

really good product, and if it will work on this crunchy yami frame... i know there should be no structural issues on other bikes.

i'll put a pick up in a second

Re: Race rails Power stuntworks

i dunno seems like some gixers ive seen around got waay more messed up than R6s but thats probably the best endorsement the railz have yet gotten, if they made em for the FZ I would look into em, oh well looksl ike its only gonna be slider until this summer

Re: Race rails Power stuntworks

like i said, the bike hopped up off the road.. then slid and spun around, with the little bit of damage. get the round slider fasho.... they absorb impact so good, and let the bike slide without the chatter an hop, like brunt side sliders.

Re: Race rails Power stuntworks

Does anyone have a pic of them on a 929? Do they just bolt on whre the normal slider would go and connect at the subframe? I have an FI cage and it has never hit the ground thankfully but it seems I can runt he rails and still cut the corners without sacrificing protection. Interested in how the look and if your knees or shins hit them while riding.

Thx

as far as the R6 goes... yes, when i am riding aggressively... my shins hit the railz. only when i am jamming on it and hitting some serious angles on the backroads, or braking hard into a turn.

yeah... kane said they are only good for about 2 stacks, but look how much clearance they leave the bike between the pavement.
