troubles wit idol cable

troubles wit idol cable

i ride a 2004 honda cbr 600rr and hav been havin probs with my idle cable bindin up when i turn it up in down and am getin ready to tear my tank off for tha 3rd f'n time. i wuz wonderin if any1 knows any tricks or a different way to rig it up so i dont hav to do this again.....hit me up

Make sure the cables are in the right spot under the tank. If the tank is sitting on them it will bind up. There is a groove that they sit in where it goes under the tank.

When you take the tank off, make sure the threads are not cross threaded where it threads into the throttle bodies. Mine did that same thing and I took it apart about 5 times before I checked that. Ran a tap through it and BANG it now is working fine. Just my

Have you done the mod or are you trying to turn it up using the stock IDLE cable? check it:
