Re: 2000 cbr 600 f4

This bike shouldn't be worth more than $2000k. You pay anymore for it and you are getting robbed!

After you buy it for $2k, then drop an F4i motor in it.

Re: 2000 cbr 600 f4

can't really gauge it, i mean some motors will blow at 16k, and some make it to 50k.. it's a honda, but since it has gearing, it's been abused, and that's a ton of miles.. no idea how often the guy really changed the oil and such.. buy it cheap, low ball the guy to death, and then get a f4i motor and wiring harness, and you got yourself an f4i for cheap!

Re: 2000 cbr 600 f4

you want an f4i motor, since it's fuel injected.. f4's are carbed... and plus you don't know how the motor will blow, could shoot a rod through it, bend the crank.. ya know. if you have enough cash, find a cheap f4i motor (register your bike before you swap motors) and get a f4i wiring harness also, real simple swap.

Re: 2000 cbr 600 f4

you said it's a f4 correct.. and read my statement above... f4 carbed, f4i fuel injected.. fuel injection started in 2001 for them.

it's all good.

You won't want a -3 sprocket up front. That will chew up your chain in no time. You really shouldn't go below a -2 sprocket b/c anything past that and the chain has to bend more, which in time wears out chains a lot faster.

theres nothing wrong with the F4, stick with the stock engine, i stunted one for years and it will do every single thing just as well as the F4i, except the F4i is a little better for circles. Itll do 20 circles on idle alone, its a bad little bitch. all these people in here have never really got down and stunted an F4 so take advice with a grain of salt

yea i know that, i would never run one. i run a stock up front and a larger rear sprocket. i was just thinking the guy did'nt know what he was talking about but i was trying to be nice about it.

haha thats so weird, I totally love carbs because their fail safe, mine have run perfect despite lots of little drops and my buddy doing a 30mph cartwheel with it. Never needed an adjustment on either of my F4s. They pull a nice idle. not QUITE as nice as the F4i but damn close
I never wear gear and I hate the idea of my FI taking a **** in a spreader, or the thing crashing because it ran out of gas.
