You can run out of gas in either bike... both cases it sucks

You won't want a -3 sprocket up front. That will chew up your chain in no time. You really shouldn't go below a -2 sprocket b/c anything past that and the chain has to bend more, which in time wears out chains a lot faster.
i have a 11 tooth front on my gixxer(either -5 or -6 depends on 600 or 750/1000) and ive had the chain on it for the last year and the guy before me had it on for a year or so. so i got 2+ years on the same chain

well it hasnt snaped in 2 years and im redoing the bike so its etting replaced as long as it stays oiled it will last

Id be scared of that broken chains can wreck your leg.

is there a huge throttle response difference from carb to fuel?

only at idle, FI is a little more consistent, but not by much. When your doing circles is the only time it really makes a difference. On a set of carbs, you're doing circles and flicking the throttle and sometimes the engine responds strong, and sometimes its not so strong.


when your doing a no hander as well, its a little bit easier because of the stronger idle, its hard to explain but snappier idle makes it a little easier.
