F4i Front end Swap

I know this has prolly been posted a thousand times, but I am having a hard time searching for it. What is the best front end swap for an f4i? Ive heard 929 and 954 but what years? Do I have to change my wheel and brakes? I heard that 636 forks will fit if u use 954 triples, is this true? I have never seen one of these setups. Anybody have pics? I would like to keep my clipons on top of the triples.

Re: F4i Front end Swap

Well im curious about 636. They are 50mm upper but im not sure about lower. Not sure of the overall length or triple clamp positioning either. Does anyone know.

Re: F4i Front end Swap

OK sorry i posted this. I found some info. Looks like I might try 929/954. I wanna run fi/vortex clipons. Can i mount these above the triple, or is the bike gonna sit way low? Are the 929/954 forks any longer than f4i?

Re: F4i Front end Swap

um, 929 n 954 feel different but parts are interchangable for a lot including forks. just do the 929 swap, dont get too far off the path with that 636 scheme. so yeah, honest question its answered a lot but it is easier to just post a question, so 929 n 954 fit, the 929 forks will feel better
thank you, that is all

What does the 600rr swing arm do for the bike? Worth the $ and time?
