WTF IS going on at 2502 design??

anyone think its a little ridiculous to wait 8 MONTHS for a helmet you paid cash up front for???

i ordered 2 helmets on 3/14/06....yes that is March...paid 1,000+ dollars up front in good faith.

didnt recieve the first helmet till i *****ed that i needed a new one after i crashed in July (summer nationals)...and STILL havent recieved the second one that is for a friend!

good business practices huh?!


(im not saying shawn doesnt do good work. my helmet looks bad ***! but giving the run around and saying next week next week and 8 months later, next week)

worst part is....the helmet is already done!!!!! ive seen pics of it!



put the stinking thing in the friggin mail!

 

ok not to sound b itchy or make you mad...is it really necessary to post 2 threads about this...and do you really think by posting this up on stuntlife it is going to get you your helmet quicker?....

its not even about that anymore...snow is gonna fly soon. its about getting the run around for the last 6 months.

and how irritated i am that shawn just ignores all my attempts to contact her. i've been nothing but polite and understanding for the past 4 months (when the helmet really should have been done already)

i ordered it in MARCH so we could ride and rep the crews and 2502 this season! look how well that turned out.

 

yes i understand..and not to make excuses i know for a fact she has been going through some stuff.. Hopefully with the new business/merge everything will run smoother..:YEAH

 

it is necessary, and posting on SL is not going to get his helmet back, but it is going to keep others from getting screwed over as well

 

bad business is bad business and this is the perfect place to either give kudos or bash someone for theway that they treat you.... you are damn right that people pay attention to threads like this and they should... i dont think that i could have remained polite as long as you did.. i would say keep the helmets and send me my $$ back...

I've read some problems about her dealing with another people and i think its related to droptop's friend frame that he never got it back anyhoo she kept up the same excuses...hope things goes well for u too.

rofl, im a painter and we're not all shady, yes i do take my time getting something done, but that is only if im getting paid on delivery. if someone pays me up front (which rarely happens), i make sure to have their items done promptly.

i do feel your pain though, before i became a painter, i had the same thing happen to me, so good luck

8 Months for a helmet!!! Thats bullshit, I paint and I can understand a month because paintwork takes awhile but thats too long and your **** is probably sitting in the corner covered in bondo dust not being touched..

Yeah i'm sorry. If I paid that much I'd expect it back in a month tops...

 

It happens all the time..I had to finish a 04 dodge that the guy bought new and took to a big name shop here in texas for a body drop and to get all shaved and painted. The dude gave the shop $5,000 down to get started and then 1 year later he brought it to us because it was sitting outside the shop with no primer on any of the body work and getting covered in rust. The whole custom world is so shady, you have to be really carefull with who you let do your work.

 

yes it is necessary....is it necessary that shawn cant get her *** in gear and get him his helmet that he already paid for....ive heard a lot of people not to happy with shawn and the way she does business and i'd never do any business with 2505....

 

I would get your $$$ back regardless! Thanks for the post too! We all need to know who is shady to prevent others from getting screwed!! Hope you get something soon bro!!!
