Re: East vs West Canada

Update:

The venue chosen is the PNE Motosport Stadium. Reservation process has begun.
Two local hotels, one right across the street and another one 10 mins away have been contacted for reservations as well. I have asked for a rate for 3 nights, Fri, Sat and Sun for 18 rooms. Some of you guys will have to double up unless you are willing to pay for a separate rooms yourself. Right now we are hoping that the rates will be low enough that we (ie. sponsors) could cover the cost. If not we are hoping to get them down to $30-40 bucks a night per person. You might have to pay for them yourself as well.

Ryder trucking has been contacted and is working on a quote and possible sponsorship of the truck rental. If it comes through we'll have a guy pick it up in Halifax, drive it to Saskatoon and the other person will drive it from there to Vancouver. All the riders who will have their bikes of the truck will have to pitch in for the gas and beer/food money for the driver.

That's it for now. The posters are almost ready and Fish kindly donated his time and effort to make a little promo vid for the show. So if everything works out and we get lots of sponsors you guys will owe him big time.

Re: East vs West Canada

I think we may have a bunch of guys from Moncton I'll pass the news around. It would be a sweet event I'm sure would be worth to go to. Too bad it's so far but it could be possible. You should make the meeting spot in Moncton instead of Fredericton it's closer to halifax, PEI.

Re: East vs West Canada

Central would have probably worked best........wonder if some magazine or manf of some sort would pick up some of the expenses .......... it would be one hell off a party / session / promotion.

Re: East vs West Canada

Holy **** ***** i just read from start to finish.. and somehow we started talking about stunt event then scott talking about slutty *****es .. hahah

Production X and moncton Crew are down for whatever.. however it is a long distance.... i don't think its so much the money and traveling.. its the jobs that get in the way for groups to come. Not everyone can get off at the same time... Either way we will definally consider making it out. I'm feelin ontario. BUt umma hit some corners see whats poppin! haha

One thing i dont know if i missed i skipped threw the thread pretty quick but .. if we do the big pick up on the transport truck 53' trailer.... who is gonna insure all the bikes in the trailer? Cause we have been looking into doing some shows where the bikes would travel in a trailer and insurance wouldn't cover the theft on it if they are not in your posession.

Scott i'm snoozin on ur coach f**K the hotels

If the amatuers are only competing for rights. Why do they have to pay? or do they have to pay?
