i think your wrong

i wont name the dvds but there are alot of dvds that are not in best buy or other stores and have sold just as many. it doesnt matter where its being sold. all that really matters is the quality. if the quality is good then the word will get around and people will buy the dvds.

our vids are sold in besy buy. but we still have people order off our site everyday.

its not where its being sold. its how its being sold. if people are talking about it b/c its so good then other people are going to want to buy it

Figure out what style of riding you like to watch and then find out who has that kind of style.

Re: whats up with stunt dvds ??

the biggest problem i have with dvds nowadays is the footage thats in them.
a STUNT dvd is supposed to have bikes and only bikes. i dont want to see bums getting humped, school bus races, people breaking beer bottles over there heads, or people getting kicked in the *****, or being interviewed about what they think of scary gary, i bought the video to watch scary gary split my wig, not listen to people talk about him.
and 50cc bikes belong in fiddy videos not stunt videos. fiddys are ridiculously easy for even my pet monkey to stunt and they dont belong in videos.
i would have to honestly say the only videos i can stand watching over and over again are that which come from nick apex, and cory kuhfal. thats it.

I agree, but dont you think that if EVERY best buy, target, curcuit city, ect ect, had a section of videos that had the new releases had some signing and stuff. dont you think more people would buy them and recognize the sport more? I personaly could care less about how big it gets, but the bigger it is the better the videos are going to be.

so you think just because the vids are going to be sold everywhere the ridin in the vids will be better??? that makes no sence to me.

there are vids out right now that have all the new tricks in them and are edited good. and they are not being sold everywhere.

and then there are just crappy vids that have been thrown together with no new tricks in them and peeps are rocking power wheelies!

i do agree with you there somewhat. alot of the vids now adays are jackass vids with some ridin in them.
there was one i remember seeing recently. that was a 60 mins vid and only had maybe 10 mins of ridin in it.
why would someone put something like that out??
i think some of the **** is funny. but why not just make a bonus section for it? why do they throw it in the vid? i do like the interviews though. i like to learn more about the people that are ridin. maybe it should be thrown in a bonus section as well.

I could be wrong but If you sell a $hit load of video's you might make a little money right? If you make money then you might ride more, film more, buy new stuff more, put more effort into editing ect ect. Im not talking about just seeing the newest trick or what not. just the quality of the video in general.

Re: whats up with stunt dvds ??

The only thing best buy sells in my town is street fighterz stuff. I live in a rather large town with a lot of people who ride and I can not count how many times people have asked me where they could get video's. So much so that I started selling stunt video's from my work and we are a boat/atv dealer.

Re: whats up with stunt dvds ??

I used to watch FTP2, and 2.5 every day. Til my VCR ate them.
I still watch FTP3 alot. And The revolution. I like watching Highway killing and Adrenaline crew style vids. They entertain more. I can hit the lot all day. The lots are cool, just more for practice to me.

Re: whats up with stunt dvds ??

look at the revolution... looks like it was edited crazy but that is a prity e-z edit JOB.....

but it does look like they used nasty cameras... anything w/ the streetfighters in it has been nasty and D's movies have been entertaining except the latest siu4 did not like it except for the last 5 min of footage JMO

I hear you, but its just like hollywood movies.... You can have a few good B rate films, and you have a lot of $hitty high doller movies but most of the block busters are going to come from the huge companies. I dont see it being any different with stunt vids. More money= more compatition which= better stuff

exactly i dont wanna see jackass i wanna see core riding i like a lil bit of talkin a lil bit of getting to know the riders but for the most part i wanna see SPORTBIKE STUNTING thats why i bought the vid to begin with right i like the way all the C&I's have mixed just enough talkin and getting to know the riders into the riding without it getting in the way of the riding it makes it were ur never bored but i guess not everyone can edit like AZ he is the man in that dept.
