my boy "debo" (stevo) let me ride his 01 ZX6R for the day since my 954 was down. Geared +14 rear, stock front. At first, it had been sitting for a while - and being carbed it was gummed up. A few good passes & the rev limiter we blew the sheet out of it. I have NEVER ridden one of these - I was impressed!! Power was real smooth, brakes were great, balance point was on point - everything about it was SMOOOOOTH!!! Took a few passes then we had the stock tail draggin. For a carb'd bike - I was IMPRESSED!!! It looks like the bike C.Bo Started on . A few people have some pics - i'll try & dig some up. Even the front brakes were pretty sweet.

I had a blast! just still on a riding "high" and posting up, thats all!!!:YEAH :YEAH :YEAH

 

nice! my boy Chase has an 01 R6, raised float 2 mm, runs crisp!!!!

 

I havn't ridden a carb'd bike in 3 f'n years - it was weird! And then to have it run great even all the way back coasting it back onto the tail. I had the gas set to 'reserve' but it still didn't studder once it was warmed up.

Nice to bring it back to the ole' school. My 98 900RR was set up MINT - no bogging out or sputtering on the bar.

Why not, isn't that what stunting and riding is all about. Even then, it is hard these days to find a decent carb'd bike. And by the way it would be "you riding a smooth carb'd bike" not "bikes". If your gonna rip someone apart learn some grammer.

yeah i was impressed with my friends 01 zx6r, held up well for a 5 mile freeway stand up at 50mph and didn't choke out once. but io have history on a 02 r6 and well thats the twitchiest carbed bike in the world.

 

i was just pumped to be out riding again!
