Bent front wheel

so yesterday i did a stand up and it was decent, in bp and everything, just the usual then all of a sudden a gust of wind hit me and almost made me loop it, so i dont really know what happened except for that i slammed down, bent my wheel, broke a peice of plastic above the fender from bottoming out (i guess you could call it that, the fender hit the bottom of the upper fairing, possibly a mud guard of some sort) ANYWAY, i was just asking if there is anyway to make the wheel true again or do i just need to get a new front wheel. the wheel isnt that bad its rideable and you cant really notice it unless you stare at it hardcore, but there is about a 8-12 inch little flat spot on the wheel and i was just wondering if it is possible to get it fixed or not, and if so what places would to it (such as dealerships, body shops... etc)

Depends what you're doing I'd get one off ebay. You can ride with it. Mines been bent for god knows how long and I still ride on it endos and all but I'm not on the streets that much last time I rode streets it was okay..I just got some headshake if I let go of the bars.

when i let go of my bars at higher speeds, my bars shake like motha ****a, could my wheel be bent too, or would it not happen unless the wheels noticably bent?

Re: Bent front wheel

www.mcwheel.com -- I think they repair them for about $130-$150.
