I just got a slightly used Powers cage for my 01 f4i and its missing the bottom bracket that connects the 2 cage halves... the long black flat piece with 4 holes drilled in it.

Anyways my question is could anyone by any chance fax me a photocopy of that piece, i have a friend that can machine one for me and i REALLY want to ride this weekend.

it dosent have to be machined, its just a plate of steel with holes drilled in it.

 

... well regardless i have a friend who can cut and make me it for me, or if anyone could even just give me the dimensions

 

Just put the cage on.. measure the distance.. and cut a plate. then drill holes.. so easy!!

yeah dude, as long as the cage is straight, just measure, n cut, keep it tight, make sure there is no slack.. should be good to go.. macguyver would already be done and on his way to fly helicopters by now

okay. i measured with the nut and bolts still in, but i think I got it. its 3/8 thick and 3" x 10". if you measure in about 9/16 in from the sides and in 13/16 from the front and back, then thats where the center of the hole should be. I hope that helps
