I've got some troy lee designs body armour and it's nice. You can get leather or mesh, i just have mesh so it's a lot cooler. Crashed on my shoulder and it scraped up the pad but my shoulder was good.

Re: what spine protectors are good?

I didnt read whole thread so im not sure if this has been mentioned, but I have a pair of ROCKGARDN protective shorts. They have eva foam with plastic sandwiched between that covers tailbone and quads. It is not super hard but will definately helps when you go down, and they are comfortable. i broke T5 and T6(upper back) and tail bone and ill take all the protection I can get, These with a good spine protector is a good combo.

Re: what spine protectors are good?

my azonic z-6 looks almost the same as the troy lee designs armor that Race Pirate posted up. my back protector looks longer for the most part, but the shoulder and forearm pads look identical. back protector envy! haha

I wonder who makes the back protector that this chick is wearing on the cover of this vid

Re: what spine protectors are good?

I am a skinny ***** and the "regular" size icon fits perfect. it moves a little bit when i have on a back pack but reg gear dosent move. i recently went down hard as hell over the bars about 45 and straight on to my back. little wear on the shoulder strap and a broken heel later, its good as new. never ride without it
