A few times ive lied to cops and told them "they have our signed waivers on file inside" referring to the building i was riding at.
Only once did the cop say "oh, ok have a nice day" and let us ride, but the other few times they still kicked us out.
they werent there to arrest us anyway, just to kick us out

Re: release/ wavier help

Well we ride at a minor league ball park parking lot here.. The cops in this town are ussually f**ksticks but one of them saw us practicing in an office park parking lot and stopped to watch. He suggested we go to the ball park and told us it would prolly be cool. They don't mind at all and will stop and watch us but after dark we have to leave because there is a R.V. campsite within an earshot and they complain. I have talked to these cops before and they said it's private propety unless the owner of the property complains they can't do sh*t. But I'm sure if the entrances are not blocked off they could prolly still hassel you.

there are so many things that you can be written up for that you've never even heard of in every state, your worst move would be to run or even talk about running "ON HERE" dont you think there are cops that come on here???
they CANT arrest you for "thinking you were going to run" you had to have done something wrong....like atleast attempt you were going to run. next time have your stuff ready and try to be polite and you'll get out of 90% of your traffic stops, etc...

^^^+1 bottom line, cops will do what they want your best bet is to try to get as much cooperation as possible and always watch your ***. Weve had cool cops one week turn around and be complete d!cks the next.

For a minute i thought you lived by me, I feel your pain!!!

no joke tho, heres the bottom line iv been racing motorcross sence i was 10 im 20 now. iv only had my bike for a month and a few weeks so im no pro at stunting a street bike but im hanging out at the local hang out spot and i pull up the parking lot and did a little standing still burnout, not even anof to creat smoke. then i turn around leave and pop the front off the ground just anof to tell the tire came off the ground then i stop with a little noise wheelie next to my girlfrend shes on the other side of the road stoped talking to here friends. i told here lets go, i turn around to leave and pull up into a parking lot. stop for for a second to wait for otheres that are leving with me and the cops pull up like there swat team. now im on a hill a pretty steep one at that anof to have to have a brake on to keep from moving. the cop comes up to me and says the usual and i say ok but i need to get off the bike to get my wallet. im only 5,5 and can barly touch the ground lol. well he says it again like he didnt hear me and i repeat myself. next he pulls out my key, and befor i no it im being areasted for R&O, reckless driving and no ops. i had ops but thay didnt give me time to show them it was a permit but i had othere riders with me. at the prelim hering the cop said from the time he arived to the time he arested me was only 5 min and we just got the tape it was only 30-40sec depending on what you considered being arested and ther trying to say i r&o because i tryed to puy my arms away when thay yanke me of my bike but relly the bike was rolling back with no kickstand and luckly my buddy grabed it befor ti droped. this isnt the firt time this has happen around here actualy about a year or two ago i guy was speeding around on a bike and ran from the cops, dumb i no, but he crashed because the cops persisted in the chase and the guy died on the spot and it atualy started a riot that lasted about a month. it was crazy that was a city over from mine being benton harbor MI.

He crashed because he ran. I bet if the guy on the bike smashed into one of your family members and killed them you'd be complaining about how they weren't doing there job.

I know around here if the spot gets hot there is a reason for it. You're not in the know, or just don't see why it's heated.

Re: release/ wavier help

no dout about it the guy that ran was a dumb ***. i just dont understand why cops cant see the diffence between a guy speeding puting people in danger and a guy showing off to his friends doing a burnout. the reson pepple run from the cops is because thay are so tired of geting screwed with by them for little **** and getting the biggest punishment for it so thay opt to run. as far as im concerned doing 150 down the highway is way mor dangerus as doing a 30mph wheelie or a standing still burnout. but the cops treat them the same and deal with them in the same mater. that why somany people run from the cops on bikes bottom line.

i understand what your saying and you might of got a bad deal but i can tell they ran from that cop before cause thats how you stop someone from riding away is to pull their key, ive seen it done many times. its just you have to try and be the best friends with them... im not saying kiss their azz but just try and build a good (somewhat) friendship with them so they get to know what type of person you are and so on. it will make things alot easier. you know there are good and bad people in this world. theres always going to be that person thats a d!ck. now you have to realize to try and not let that cop see you do not one thing cause he's going to have his eye on you now. another thing if you havent got a lawyer yet go get one!
