So...I looped a 2nd Gear Standup over the weekend
I was out practicing at a secluded spot and somehow managed to loop a 2nd gear staggered standup. I didn't even realize i was looping it until i heard the exhaust scrape. By that time it was either too late or i just didn't react with the rear brake in time (was covering it). Lost control and went down at about 40. Luckily I was wearing my gear (leather jacket, gloves, helmet). Had jeans on though so i got some nice rash on both my knees which is quite painfull..but that's all. I had a FI cage on my 954 which took a lot of the damage and didn't strip my motor mounts like i've heard others say. Got some fixing up to do so...anybody have 954 parts for sale...LOL. Still can't believe i friggin looped it.

Looping is Looping regaurdless of where you are. It's been my experience that it only hurts more when you are in front of people. That sucks man I guess next time you will cover the brake a little better. I did the same thing years ago

Not too bad...Rear brake light gone, rear tail fairing is somewhat trashed, broke the stator cover as the FI cage flexed into it. Rearsets are bent, right clip on is pushed foreward...I think. Front fairing has a crack and mirrors gone. Exhaust has a nice 12 grind on the end along with a lot of rash. Im not replacing all just the essentials. Sounds bad but doesn't look too bad.
