ok maybe im dumb here but hear me out. ok i was looking at getting some FI clipons for my 929. thing is the stock ones are below clamp and raise up. the FI ones dont raise up. so i get the 0 angle but there lower. am i right there. some help here..

Yeah, you're correct. The bar ends are the same height as stock (at least they were on my 600rr) the difference is they're lower at the clamp.

 

ok since they dont bend down they will prob be the same height as a stock clip on. just has the nice flat angle and ill be able to turn them out a bit

 

Exactly. If you want something that gives you a bit more height, the Heli Bars are good for the 929. They're up an inch and back an inch. Only drawback is they're done if you bash one and I think I paid around $230 for them....Ouch! The good thing about the FI's is that you can replace the bar if you tweak one. I like that a lot. Plus the black anodizing that they do is sooooooooooo nice. I have them on my 600rr and have them about 1 inch longer than the stock bars. Crazy how one inch can give you so much more leverage over stock......Now if only they'd rip off the heli bar design and bring them up and back....

 

i know some people put them upsidown, left on right, right on left, with the FI clipons on the f4i. but do people do it on the 929 too?
