back sprocket split in half! anybody??

back sprocket split in half! anybody??
i was riding a spreader today and my back sprocket broke!! what the *** , anybody with the same experience, personally never seen this before, it was a 520 kit on a 636, is it a good idea to go 525?? it sucks!!!

didnt crash but came down haaaard!! yeah i got the bike with that gearing and never touched it, it sucks its too weak i guess!!!

Wow, that sprocket looked too weak to begin with.... I agree with everyone on the holes being to big......

If ya need a new one, check out PMP Sprockets.... give 'em a call at (888)Moto-Gear. Make sure and speak with eithor Kim or Barry.....

If if was me I would have stayed with the 525 or went bigger rather than smaller. But like they've said, the holes look too big. I'd send that POS back to where you ordered it from.

520 530 525......it dont make a ****...that had nothing to with the chain and sprocket WIDTH...that all all about shitty design on that sprocket...and that was homeade piece of ****......anyway...I have 520 on my 636 and never a problem...got 20,000 miles out of it and i gave it pure hell...........

Thats it they simply took away too much material and the surface area left wasnt enough to hold the load....

The big holes looks like what the problem was at.. Look at the distance between the hole and the teeth..

Also don't run 520 - Use 525+ chain and sprocket stronger..
