Re: so which one?

I love my 600RR. Balance point is higher than just about any bike I've ever rode, but once you get used to it and jump on something else, other bikes feel like a joke. Super racy bike, nasty throttle response and super fast for a 600...With gearing it is Sooooooo fun. Circles till your grip gives out. 929's are great all around bikes. Stoppies are rock solid and in my opinion, a bit more weight is better for the guy on the highways and back roads as opposed to the parking lot slayer...Better have your throttle hand dialed in. This bike will spit you off the back if you disrespect her. Probably one of the best bikes to streetfighter or street stunt. The 1000 is for guys that want to tell everyone they have a 1000. Good Drag bikes, straight liners and stock gearing for 186mph runs. If that doesn't appeal to you, don't consider it. 954 is probably without a doubt in my opinion the PERFECT machine. Compact, light, powerful, great stoppies, wheelies, and that sound. Is there anything better sounding than clutching up a 954?

if your wondering if a 600 is fast

if your only gonna take a month to learn to ride before stunting

if your asking if you have to have insurance to be street legal

if your worried about smoking the cops.

929 is a killer bike, awesome for stoppies. 600 will be alot easier to learn slow stuff on though, and alot easier for circles.

+1

If your 16 you probably not going to have the respect that you need for a 929 or a 954. You shouldn't be worried about how fast it is and try to find a bike that fits you. Go and get a ninja 250 or 500 then practice for a year or so then get a 600. The 600 is plenty fast, and can get you into trouble all day long. Get a good job if you don't have one cause bikes aren't cheap. Lots of maintence, but its not cheap like a car. Tires wear out 10 times faster and 1 bike tire costs almost as much as a set for your car. If your buying the bike to try to run from the cops your stupid. Just pull over and take what you have coming, and for the most part if its something small the cop will let you go. But your going to do what ever you wnat so go ahead and get the 929 or the 954, but don't come back here bit(hing cause you looped it 15 minutes after you left the lot and totaled it out and don't have any insurnance to cover the damages.

Re: so which one?

At 16 you might as well buy a bmx bike and stunt that, then you don't have to worry about price!

a 929,954 is way to much for a 16year old. and the insurance company wont even want to talk to you about putting insurance on a 929 for a 16year old but hey we cant tell you want to do so if you get a 929 and loop it i will buy it off you :YEAH

if u r really buying a bike at 16 and if u wont be happy with a 250(which i wouldnt be either) get a older 600 (f2,f3)or stick with the quad,i used to have a 400ex and i'd ride that anyday over a ninja 250,even to outrun cops
