This is how im going to try them. If you flip them and leave them below the triple theyre rediculously low

So do you have to lower the front of the bike so the forks are higher to mount the clipons on top of the triple?

Re: Flipping 929 clipons

wow those kinda **** cause if you leave them stock they have the downbend and if you flip them they have that up-side-down rise that puts them really low.

Mike, find out what size the forks are, most up-side-down setups are 50mm (GSXR's, 636, zx-10 just to name a few) If they are 50mm then ANY 50mm aftermarket clipons will work, and you can flip them and they will be haigher than those, even UNDER the triple... ill bet you can find a set on e-bay, if not hit up Freestyle Ing. and tell them who you are and they'll probably give you a decent discount on a set of ) degrees!

Re: Flipping 929 clipons

I have vortex clip ons on my 954 and if I flip them the angle up is dumb.

MikeM if you want them pm me an offer, I think I might get the FI zero chit.

Re: Flipping 929 clipons

if you turn out the stock f4i clips, do you cut away the 'thing' that holds them in position on the fork/triple? the metal part sticking out i mean!

Re: Flipping 929 clipons

I just ran the vortex clip ons on that setup. That is the way to go.I just put DB bars on my F4I/929front end so I dont need them anymore.I got a new pair of black anodized ones w/ no scratches for ya.
I will most likely be able to take pics and put em up on ebay for a couple of bucks today(if that makes any sense to do?)or PM me during the day and I will let you know when I put em up with a buy now or something. Im not too good with this stuff.
