Man its all about getting the feeling of your bike when you first learn. Once you learn, you can hope on most any bike and clutch it up for miles. Just practice practice practice. And before you know it, you'll be at the BP for miles. Just practice and read up and watch videos in here, and you'll be golden in no time. Some peeps can just jump on a bike and pull it up and go right off the bat. Most of us have the practice our *** off!!

Get comfy with the balance point. I used to fear it on the kan-o-tuna, then i bought a more powerful bike, found it is easier once you know where it is...
Basically, when you cant see the road anymore (sitting down) you are very close, if that scares you, try a stand up, but watch the touchdown, it can get hairy if done wrong...

What helped me was basically was clutching it up and the further I made myself get close to the tank in a staggered standup so I was basically humping it and pushing against it with my waist, it felt like I was safer and I lost alot of fear I had of looping but you always need to have a little bit otherwise you will crash eventually

I think once you come to peace with the fact that you'll crash eventually
the fear will go out the window, it worked for me
or you could alway try to stunt on a nice grassy area

I guess you could be right... but I was under the impression it was the actual fluid losing viscosity from the heat.
