Re: F4i Short pipe!!!

I cut mine with a chop saw so it was nice and straight but if you don't have chop saw just take your pipe to any muffler shop and have them cut it..Plus if your stunting your bike is gonna get messed up so don't worry so much about how your exhaust looks..I cut mine and made it look stock then crashed and now it all jacked up but thats just part riding..

Measure and figure out how much YOU need to cut off with your setup. I would use a straight edge from your bar to your tire and see where it crosses the pipe and then go from there.

Re: F4i Short pipe!!!

f4i stock pipes are easy but kind of a pain also. unlike the 636 n r6 the caps are welded on. theres a few guys that did it the right way, i kinda did. vut your endcap off, where the exhaust exits. cut it at the weld. then measure how much to cut off, and re weld the inners and re weld the cap....sounds almost stock and looks pretty damn good to....till u eat ****

good luck

OH mang!!! for real my stock pipe is a pain in the ***, I took it today to a shop like some of you suggested and the owner took 1 look at it and said that they won't do it because this kind of pipe (f4i) needs a special blade to cut it and just hacking it with a saw will f*** it up, (I told him that alot of people do it that way, I guess he didn't want the responsibility) Is the owner an amateur or he knows what he's talkin about.
