He's on the balance point here
I could be wrong...but I heard that BIll D has got like 45-50 lbs. mounted to the front of his R1... Is this true? Anybody?

Go ahead and roll 2000 feet with 100lbs dumbell strapped to your fairing, but if you can only roll 700 without it, as far as I'm concerned you roll 700 ft stoppies.
Check out all the weight on the front of mine! A damper and a fender.

That's exactly what I'm trying to say. Now is that **** fair against a stock or any other bike for that matter??

Totally agree !! That's what I was trying to put out...

I Still don't think it's unfair if a stock 600 with clip-ons has to compete with a fully modified one with DB bars... It's his own choice to rock a stock bike... And he knows that this sport is all about modifing you're bike. Or else we wouldn't had oil pick-ups,handbrake's,crashcages,gearings etc.

I don't see the problem to change the steering also I got respect for both riders, with clip-ons or with DB bars, but still my credits go out for the riders that rolls the longest stoppies, desregarding the fact that maybe he's rocking DB bars...

And like I heard many time's before, Jason britton is killin' the stoppie scene, and he's rocking clip-ons... So don't be hatin' the DB bars, cause it's not like they make a rider invincible

Another point is with those skills on clip ons, if he had a db bar setup he probably would have asked for a blind fold to keep it fair
