air ducts?

Does anyone have any pics or ideas of what to use to cover the air ducts when I take off the fairings?
I was thinking of using that cheap grill stuff you can get at autozone. How would I install that?

Re: air ducts?

epoxie puddy or a plastic welder is the best bet, depends on what sort of mesh you are installing. I'v even seen some JB weld hold the mesh thing under fairings.

Re: air ducts?

blocking one air duct can cause a slight increase in air velocity. if you were to do that one duct has to **** twice the air in the same time to keep the engine alive, increasing velocity. but once it hits the air filter all effects are canceled. so... decide for your self.
