Re: First wheelie!!!

stunting is anything besides regular peg sit downs n stand ups at freeway speeds..i just can't wait in a few months, or a year, when u look back and think "fvck i sounded like a tool with my power wheelies, clutching is much better"

Re: First wheelie!!!

come in at 30mph.. bounce your *** on the seat to preload the rear to pop up. then grab some front brake, keeps your arms almost locked, and learn forward, and look forward, NOT down

Agreed..There's guys that can ride freeways for miles but can barely ride one in 1st gear

Re: First wheelie!!!

If you power it up, your giving it nearly full throttle to get it into the air, then once you hit balance point you either gotta chop the throttle, OR loop out..

Whereas when you clutch it up, you rev it, release the clutch at only like 1/4 throttle, then you hit balance point and your barley on the throttle so you can ride it, instead of chopping it to not loop out..

in other words CLUTCH IT UP

I started wheelieing the big bike a month ago, finally just found balance point this week.. Now gotta start working on slowing them down

Staggards are MUCH easier for me.. I'v ridden a few out for 1/2-1 mile in first gear. Clutching it up at 10mph, but I usually dont hit balance point tell around 30.. Gotta keep working on it

You can loop it alot easier doing a power wheelie then to clutch it up. Especially in second. I would like to see some video of you powering it up in second on you R6.

Re: First wheelie!!!

...Then I started reading on this forum to clutch and stand up stagered. I learned to clutch it up but didn't have the ***** the stand up. So for 3 months I was sitting clutching it up, finding the BP but couldn't ride for more than like 200 or 300 yards. Finally 2 weeks ago I grew some ***** and stagered it. Now 2 weeks later I can ride for as long as my arms will let me. And that is like 5 6 miles...
So I am new and will admit that I am not too sure about the correct way to stagger. Cause I am still doing sit-downs and not being able to hold them very far. So stagger is a stand up with one foot on the 12 o'clock or seat and the other up front controling the rear brake????
