Hey everyone kinda new around this site here.. did a search but didn't find much on this subject... Just trying to see if anyone is rolling an 04 up gsxr 600 or 750... if so what kind of setup are you running... I am about to put new sprockets on mine and I am trying to decide what to run.. I am trying to slow it down a lot and can already find bp. Just want to be able to rock out the slow stuff. My pipe will be cut down soon, and I don't plan on running a bar yet I have a lot of tail sections I can scrape away. I am thinking about a 60 tooth rear and stock front... rear is stock at 45... let me know what everyone thinks..

 

my 04 600 is 1 down 4 up and does fine kinda sucks on the highway though

 

I have a 60 tooth and love it.. Still somwhat fast and great for circles. Just dont forget to put an extended oil pickup in it.. you can get it here..

Well that helps a lot... maybe I am trying to gear it way to much. I don't ride it all the time... Mainly just to the "spot" and back. and downtown to bike night every once in a while. Prolly about 70 mph max.. I have another bike for riding everywhere. But I might be going a little to big in the rear.. prolly don't need that much.. guess thats why I was asking though.. thankx bro

 

Yeah I need to order that like now.. I hear it takes a while to get it.. My boy is already on his 3rd engine in his 750.. He rides interstate wheelies for miles.. I need to holla at him I think he might have one that he hasn't installed yet.. thanks for the help

Ya it blew my mind when i say the stock pickup! I was like oh snap it really was starving of oil!!!!! If not i have an extra i havent used yet if you want to buy it..

 

good gearing, probably good for streets too, I got a 57, close enough for me.

How much for the pickup? I could prolly get it faster from you...lol... I hear it takes a while..and I just called my boy.. he put his in last night.. said his new engine was starting to get a lil tick..lol!! So the 60 still seems ok in the streets?

 

i have a 2005 gsxr600 with a 60tooth rear and a stock front sucks ***** for the strret but clutches up so nice. at 55 mph 6th gear bike turns 7000 rpms

 

I run 70 rear and 1 down. Pickup tube and Fi cage and clipons. Round bar.

 

1st gear is gayyyy

 

I know I don't rock a gixxer, but I got a 60 on my f4i and it's PIMPTASTIC. I been trying to get it @ the "CloseCallRiderz" are you guys in B'ham, AL. We rock out of Huntsville...

im running a 53 in the rear and 1 down front only cause at the time i needed something fast, kneedraggers had it in stock and shipped it out for only like 50 something bucks, 55 tooth is a great starter rear from what i have heard, my bike will still run like 130 or so on the highways which isnt too bad. i know tony and his 70 tooth rear can hit a whooping 85 or so. but circles are done easier with the bigger rear, so it depends on your plans, if i didnt live so far from the spot i would have gone bigger.
btw, i have a stock 04 can cut 6"s shorter, clears everything and sounds great, jut take your time cutting it cause some folks just hack it then screw the cap back on and it sounds like crap.
and a pickp tube is a must!!!!!!

 

For me ya.. Your going to run high in rpm's but iv had no problems ..My old bike iv been hittin the streets for the last 3 years and no problems..

Same price . Its never been used ill pay shipping if your interested..

05 sixxer 60/15 still bucks at 130+
