those guys wishing to qualify for a chance at future comps run by xdl should get out to as many shows around the US as they can. many of those riders 'invited' have proved themselves in the past and are deserving of this opportunity. the great parking lot riders of our sport who never venture out of their own neck of the woods are not as deserving as others for these chances, albeit they are as talented.

i'm sure that if these series are successful then they will expand, forcing preliminary qualifiers to be held, in which most everyone will get a fair shot. but at this stage, it is just not feasible and there are riders who stand out above the rest for various reasons, not entirely based on pure skill alone.

bottom line: anyone who wants to 'get out there' and be recognized with such opportunities, needs to GET OUT THERE and make a name for themselves.
WELL SAID, BUT NOT ALL PEOPLE ARE IN THIS SPORT FOR THE SAME REASONS. IF YOU WANT TO BE THE BEST AT COMPETITIONS THEN TEACH IS RIGHT, YOU HAVE TO SHOW YOUR FACE AT EVERY EVENT YOU CAN. MOST GUYS I RIDE WITH DO IT FOR FUN, SO TRAVELLING AROUND TO RIDE IN A TIMED SESSION ISNT THAT APPEALING. IT IS MORE FUN FOR US TO GET TOGETHER AND RIDE TILL OUR HANDS FALL OFF. MAYBE WHEN PEOPLE ARE MAKING SOME REAL MONEY(EQUIVELANT OF A REAL JOB) MORE RIDERS WILL VENTURE OUT TO NEW AREAS TO UP THE GAME.

Well if all your in it for is fun then don't ***** that you don't get invited to public, sport changing, and or just publicized events...

Waiting until money is involved is equally as a ***** move in my opinion... Just cause some practice HC circles all day long but wanna wait until the easy road just opens up to them doesnt make them deserve ****.

U want fame? Glory? money? respect...

earn it.

me personally.. im about sick of paving the road for these parking lot never been outta their own city limits or ever tried to accomplish anything in relation to a dream in their life stunt vultures... I respect the hustlers..

** My above opinion only applies to the ones that sit on the side cry and hate.. not the guys who do it for fun and are content with that.. I respect that most of all**
