FI. cage = weak
1st fI cage ... weld broke on the loop and smashed my case cover 1st drop
2nd fI. cage (new design)... one drop and it shoved everything to the right, the loop is already touching my plastic, the next drop probably will mean another broken case cover at this rate.

not bashin freestyle, my buddy had one (R.I.P).... and he had looped and droped and everything you can think of and the only thing he had to do was change out the pucks from them bein worn down.. but on a big bike like my 929, it would have already ben busted all to hell. a friend of mine has a 929 with one and it bent the frame ear. but everyone has their own prefrence.
Re: FI. cage = weak
Had one on my '98 GSXR and currently have one on the F4i. Never had too many problems with mine and I've put it through hell. Only problem I have is breaking rearsets and cracked an already broken case (once). Given all the **** that its been through, I'd say the cage has done a hell of a job. Freestyle rocks!!!!

Dont be a smart A**... i know weather the cage should have bent or not. I didnt pankake it from 12 or grab or anything. Jumped off and pull it down to the side with my clutch hand and bam bent cage.

Dude every other circle you do the bike is on the ground.
Re: FI. cage = weak
Maybe you had loose bolts and that is why it bent. I have a new FI design cage. I crashed a 30-40mph highchair this weekend when my windscreen hit my kill switch at engine break height. My bike went everywhere...slid, rolled..you name it. Nothing happend to the bike.

fi cage is good for like your pretty street bike that you arent gonna try too much new on, just kill the streets, its unobstructive........i rock a powers because i ****, and it will hold up to my NEWBIE abuse better than the FI would....
i mean, just walk up and kick the cage!!!!! fi will reverberate in the tube, others' wont.....also FI me thinks always has a prob with bending the slider part of it (i think, others will let me know)
dont get me wrong....if i could ride worth a damn, id rock an FI cause its IS less obtrusive....im not gonna try my first circles wit it though

yeah the FI cage bends on the slider where they bolt to the frame, my friends bent his ears on his 929... but well said, its for people who cant control their bikes from hard falls
