Grip/Sqeeze the tank with your legs.

Yes, a damper isn't needed.

...until you crash because of a tankslapper, then you will wish you had one in the first place.

patience

Andrew. Be patient. Your bike is very unstable with stoppies. You got a tank slapper with the rear tire two foot off the ground.
We will be out at mesquito rd this weekend. Call me.

for what it's worth i've gotten a few bad slappers while doing one handed stoppies when my damper hasn't been cranked up.

so you all know, he is riding a 95 FZR 600. There is nothing stable about this bike. Doing stoppies with both hands with a stabilizer is still going to be hairy. The front tire seems to be as skinny as a tooth pick compared to what we are using in this century.

say what?
i have a 95 fzr600 also and i do stoppies on it. I've never gotten a tank slapper, but occasionally the front end locks up.

and what's that about the tire? mine runs a 120 in the front, unless i'm stupid my 929 also has a 120 in the front.

120 mph and slam on the front brake lean forward and roll it as far as you can

Just do that and roll an endo forever or tumble down the highway far enough to beat Thews world record.
