Thanks for the props on the drifting though!..... I can honestly say we had one of the first vids over a year ago with something resembling 'drifting' like what you would do in a car...but on a sportbike. I haven't seen anyone else except Teach and the grandmaster Jason Pullen doing anything impressive in that department. I'm sure there are others though, just haven't seen any video

Jason Pullen is for sure a master at the burn out....rips that **** up.....he got screwed at SW...he should have made the list.....

Re: Is the bag of tricks almost empty??

There's still loads of stuff i've not seen outside Europe.

One of the best looking things i've seen was a 180 stoppie, and then with the bike rolling backwards at about 5-10mph, the rider has his feet up.
Selects 3rd/4th and pins the throttle and dumps the clutch.
Looks awesome as this bike takes off at mach 3.

It's hardly podium circles, but it looks awesome.

Pfeiffer was doing fast, wide sitdowns about 3 years ago.

Both the American / Canadian guys, and the Euro / S. American guys have different bags of tricks.
It's good that we're starting to see a crossover of these styles. It can only further the sport.

As far as the bag of tricks is concerned though. I don't think it's got a bottom. There'll always be people coming up with new things.

EDIT: We need more rail tricks too. Still think it looks great watching people stood on the headlight.

Re: Is the bag of tricks almost empty??

Podium circles from that guy on GSXR in stuntex movie were the last thing that made me REALLY shocked, i think it was first time in like a year...**** was crazy...it seems like unicycling (i dont know if thats how its called, they do it on fiddys sometimes...) on a sport bike is just a matter of time...

Switch back wheelies...one guy in europe had it on lock on his crappy old bike. Considering, that his bike wasnt much lighter from like 600cc I think he might have done some switchback wheelies on his new CBR 600RR already...
Imagine, that would open a new bag of tricks...switchback circles, combos and ****, almost everything people can do now, but switchback...

Re: Is the bag of tricks almost empty??

There is a lot of switchback talk. Reminds me of being a kid when a good amount of us said "when I grow up I'm going to be a doctor" only to later take the aptitude test and see we're best suited to be a plumber... **** that test. So yes, switchback would be dope, but considering the setup time to get in and out, plus the fact it would be "relatively boring" when/if a lot of people did it I don't see it coming through as the future progression of tricks. If it starts getting that hard core it will become competition based style tricks, who's willing to risk more for the win. For example, unless you did something really risky in a switchback circle it wouldn't matter. But if you were to do a 40mph SS deactivator to skitch it would. Feasible yet dangerous tricks will separate the men from the boys, or so I think. So yes Alex Flores will beat us all to the switchback _____ trick, but I think kung fu madness would appeal more in competition, thus being the future. I could also be VERY wrong I live in Vegas where power wheelies are still king, no bullshit.

Christ backflip to skitch. Aaron Twite, Shamil, and ???? Are doing it.
