I just finished restoring Darius's 2000 xr50, one of the first 50's I ever rode way back in the day, lol. If you have seen any of his videos you have probly seen several different riders beating the **** out of his 50. The motor was blown from running out of oil, the subrframe was bent and broken from a low quality 12 bar, Forks where bent with blown bushings, overall it was beat down. hey moorport how much do you slang those rear brake extension pieces for?..the one on the back drum that the cable and linkage hook to.. that looks like itll take some slop out..

 

best 50 I ever rode, the bike is fun to ride again. I'm bringin it to stuntwars and battling the 50 kids

Thanks guys, that bike came out so clean and tight, I like it better than mine. I wish it wasn't rainin, I want to beat on that bike some more before I go back to the shop.

Now that thing is hooked up. It Looks perfect. Now I gotta get one of those handbrake setups and rear pegs......Got 50 envy.

wouldnt you swap the handbrake to the top mount to get more leverage???
