Mx riseres for the f4

I am wanting to mount mx bars to my f4, but I don't know the best way to do it. I have seen risers on ebay for an okay price but I am afraid of them being cheaply made. Does anyone out there have any sudjestions or know of the right kind of product to use for this bike? I wanna do it right, and I dont want my bars to come off mid-flight. If you could post up some pics of what you have done or just post up the right kind of risers to use, and how you installed them.

Thanks Folks

Drill holes in the upper tripple on either side of the middle.. Basically take your bars,, put the mounts on,,, then line it up on your tripples.. mark and drill.. Worked for me.. But dirtbike bars are BUNK ! dont doo it !!

Re: Mx riseres for the f4

man those clamps feo full throttle arnt cheap! whti if you drill the holes then bolt a steel plate to the bottom of your clamp to help distribute the force?
think that will work?

Re: Mx riseres for the f4

yeah it all depends on how the bottom of your triple is layed out...some have braces kinda built in...any kinda steel plates or wide spacers would help ya out

The triple is strong as ****.. I watched my bike flip end over end,, The bars looked like a horse shoe,, the triple never cracked bent or nothing.. Just drill the b!tch.

Re: Mx riseres for the f4

Gotta put MX bars on it! they have a way better feel than just turning out your clip-ons, the only issue is making sure your cables all reach
