Stunt Bike Selection

Ive owned a Cbr600f4i, and a 2001 R1. Im just gettin back into the bike scene now. What is the best all around stunt Bike? especially for doing slow wheelies... Im looking at gettin another f4i or a 954...Is having the extra power from the 954 better than the F4i when stuntin? Or is the F4i going to be just as good after it is re - geared? I loved the power the R1 had, but i have never ran a re-geared f4i.... Any input would be awesome.

I live in NY so i get to wait all winter before i buy a bike and get to ride in the spring.

Re: Stunt Bike Selection

f4i or 636.. love both bikes. but out of 954 or f4i.. if its gonna be for mostly stunt parking lot, f4i is great.. but 954 is nice too lil more twitchy but great bike, just reinforce the subframe

Yes, the 954 is very twitchy.....Making the slow wheelie learning curve a little longer for me as I speak...............

Re: Stunt Bike Selection

heres how i feel on it all i had a 929 worked fine till i tryed to get reaaly tecnical ie circles. i also had an f4i awsom bike all around grate for circles. now i have a 2005 gixer 600 and dam this thing circles all day long not trying hold idle very well. so if you are new and you are going to crash allday long get the f4i it will hold up the best. however when you get some exsperance get a 2005 gixer 600 its pimp as hell

Re: Stunt Bike Selection

you dont need power for slow wheelies, get a dirtbike and an f4i and you'll have that **** down in no time

Re: Stunt Bike Selection

Sweet...I guess ill go with the F4i then, that was my first bike back in 2002. What are some good mods to do or bolt ons to add to the F4i so it can endure some crashes?

Also, has anyone had a F4i motor apart... My friends got a wrecked F4i with a bent crank on the stator side. How hard of a job is it to swap that out. I was looking at a micrfiche and it looks like the Rods unbolt, but how much of a job is it to drop the bottom of the motor out to pull the crank out?
