ill be graduating in may

and the thing with making it for a 50 is its completely different than a steetbike. on a 50 its just like making a perch with 2 clutch levers, on the streetibke you have to account for the whole brake fluid thing

Re: Senior Project Ideas????

they both have the peice that clamps to the back of them.
make one of those that is offset... so both can me bolted to one 'back clamp'

or make a new perch with holes to bolt a HB to it.

just throwin ideas out there

Re: Senior Project Ideas????

the two lever perch would be nice if someone made it....especially since I can't seem to get them close enough on mine!!!!

would definately buy one if somene made a quality one...have it to wear a certain MSR raptor lever or CR250 lever would work for the clucth and same thing for the brake...where everything is universal and can get replacement levers from magazines and stuff cheap!!!

Would be a kickass product to sell!!!!!

Re: Senior Project Ideas????

Design the clutch lever so it points out, and have the hb lever curve inward, that way you can do coasters and **** and get a lot of leverage from your hb while still having enough room to pull the clutch in.

make two perches....where they interlock and are held together with a bolt....that way it's more than one peice, still serves that purpose, see if that works!!!

its not becuase of the two pieces thing.... its becuase of the required machining of the interior of the master

Re: Senior Project Ideas????

how about a bead-lock rim for motorcycles....i know stunters dont need one, but u could just say when turning circles at low tire pressure the bead is breaking and a bead-lock will eliminate that...or just say its for drag racing bikes because they need bead-locks anyway....just a thougth b/c in a junior in M.E....solidworks is alot better than CAD though, or at least it easier for me....

Re: Senior Project Ideas????

i say design a clutch lever, like an ASV, but make it mountable right up next to the hb, and have the back piece have four holes, instead of two, so the hb and the clutch bolt into the same piece... just make it so the levers are spaced enough to use the clutch and hb at the same time and it would be great.
