Jesus.......Heres were I was going with my OPINION trafficcriminal.........I have been told that I am, and also try to be a very smooth rider. By saying that I didn't like what it did for MY style, does not mean that I don't enjoy watching some riders rock the hb. When I put my hb on, I noticed that my once smooth style had been thrown into the dumpster, and was now very choppy and up and down. I felt that it didn't suit me, so I took it off. I also enjoy hc scrapes with sprocket, drag for a minute, then off, rather than a quick touch and go, again, another opinion. As far as having more tricks in my bag, I agree, but I also would like to learn several other tricks that do not require a hb before I think that I need one. I didn't mean to get the panties on your head in a bunch...........
I also agree with the big sprocket comment, it really is just like a hb, not that anyone cares but i am stock in the front and +10 in the rear.
And I am not too sure when the last time you saw Jacob from Geared Up ride, but he will clown on most people with a hb just with his engine brake.

The only thing you NEED it for is circle combos, and our sport is boring enough without more circle variations that people don't understand!
In the words of the guy they call Teach.....Idle This!

if i didn't do any circle combos, and you were watching me ride, would you know that i had a HB on?!?! You know my style and i agree that to entertain a crowd you still need to look like at any minute you could eat it. Its all in how you USE the HB, i use it to let me be sloppy without as big of a risk of crashing. When im doing 20 shows a year, i don't want to risk eating it on a mind lasp during a spreader or combo that lays me up for a month, see what i mean?!?! I think that with the right style, skill, and know how, you can be just entertaining (without putting audiences to sleep with idle crap) with a HB all while keeping yourself at less risk.
Idle this... lol

Re: Hand brake: why don't you use one?
look what you started ed
HB's are the **** if you do not have one you will get left by people learning **** 1000 times faster. People watching do not give a crap if you have one or don't they are the people that wan't to see you pull off new unbielevable tricks not the same CRAP WE HAVE ALL SEEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN. it is just the difference between new age riding and old school riding and i would rather watch someone like mana pulling off WOW stuff then oh i have seen that a million times

Don't get me wrong.....I Think your style is extremly smooth and your very fun to watch.....it did'nt acure to me that a hand brake could throw your whole style in the dumpster.... your way better than that kid..! I'm Sure your smoothness can be transfered to the Hb with a very little time. HB's is where this sport gone and there here to stay.... besides how you LOOK riding with one there just plain fun and allow you to open up a whole new world of fun challenges on your bike..! Johnlegion Makes a very good point as well.
Oh well...Just thought i'd give ya i little s h i t see if you'd budge....
Yea you defintly bunched my panties up..
And for the Brunnels nice of you to stick up for them... but lets be real without the clown effect there ga'bage.

Just becuase you have one does'nt mean you have to relie on it.....
For example the Brunelle's chasing down spreaders and highchairs is far less entertaining than watching someone ride one at the same speed slowing it down throwing in scrapes........!!!!

Re: Hand brake: why don't you use one?
There are valid arguments that go both ways, some of the tricks are cool, and I enjoy watching some people ride with them........I just prefer not to have one for now!
Re: Hand brake: why don't you use one?
engine break is sick i love it its so awesome. but i threw a handbrake on just for ***** and giggles so when i get bored doing the everyday normal engine brake ****. its fun i like to get away from normal once an awhile thats me. my opinion a handbrake never hurt anything for the sport neither did engine brake or big sprockets or dirt bike bars or helium in the front tire so all in all a ***** is ***** and cocaine is a hell of a drug
