the key on your handlebar or under your seat???

i saw people replace the contact from the steer to
somewhere else
under the seat ...
who have done this too???
is it good or not

if you loop the bike you can break the key off in the ignition, happened to me, ignitions are cheap on ebay though so it's no biggie. I just got longer bolts and washers to lower it into the upper triple so the key barely sticks out.

Tell me about it! ignitions may be cheap but a complete lock set aint! I dint want 2 seperate keys for the trunk, gas cap, and ign so I was forced to buy a whole set.

My key didnt even break but the ignition on my 636 cracked right in half...

that and so you dont kick it in to the off position jumping around.

That would be the main point in the mod. Warren Jamez mouse trapped it after kicking the key, and bit it hard. Cutting the end off the key is a cheap/fast option, but you'll need needle-nose pliers to get it out LOL
