Re: EX250 Frame Sliders

Re: EX250 Frame Sliders

I've been down this road myself. I couldn't find anyone that made them for the ex250... It would be real easy though to just take some made for another bike and bolt them up. Or better yet, just go to you local plastic supply house buy some material, drill it yourself, and bolt them up. I bought a 1 foot length of slider material for like $6. I used it on my f4i with the mxd cage but the idea is the same. I just took a quick look at my 250 and it would be cake to do. I think I might give it try myself before my wife wrecks it again. lol

Word... Those things are actually tough as nails. My bro has dropped his twice. once thrown over the bars(12 gone wrong, too much rear brake). Only broke a blinker each time.
My wife road mine into the back of my Rodeo (cracked the upper) and it's still runs and rides perfect.
You cant kill'em. I've talked with some guys who race them as well. And they tell me they are tough as nails.

I dont' weigh much at all maybe 130 pounds if that.
I've had mine up to 105 mph and I'm like 230 lbs. Took it for ever to get there but it will do it. Mine was stable.

Re: EX250 Frame Sliders

u actually the front end to come up??
i rmbr on my old one i was in a big open area..
i'm goin at about 5-10mph i pull the clutch in and give the bike RPMS all the way to like 11 or 12K dump the clutch and just launched off the front didnt even budge but iono i think my clutch was slippin cause right away it went to the limiter and was bouncing off of it for i'd say a good couple hundred feet but then i shifted into a second and bye bye lol man i miss riding
