what gearing are you running? I'm -1/+17 and highway standups are in any gear, and pull spreaders in 3rd at decent rpms at about 55-65mph it holds there all day. Keep an eye on your Cam Chain Tensioner, its better than the F4i's, BUT mine just went out awhile back and bent a valve. Gotta get it fixed now. I've got a APE manual cam chain tensioner now to replace the stocker. Messes up when you go from high rev/limiter to idle real fast. Mine went out doing a chainsaw when I let go of the bike and walked off. Problem was noticed when I picked it up and didn't sound right. I love mine and will be back rocking it before too long.

damn dude +17? **** i just droped one and put a fiddy tooth on the *** and it dose me just fine but i do everything in 2nd and anything +60 mph in 3rd... i just like the feel of 2nd more better.. oh first gear is a *****...lol but like i said i do ride mine back and forth to ATx and i dont like runnin 75mph at 14grand rpm.... i love my 600rr but now i am lookin in cycle trader for a 954 if you got pics of you on your 600rr send them here i'd like to see someone else... i have pics just not uploaded to comp... i gots the ole' fassion camers that is one step up from a polorid...lol

 

yeah, my highway standups at 65ish are in 6th gear around 6000rpm, nice and easy on the motor. But highway spreaders are in 3rd at 55ish around 9-10000 rpm!!! Its not too bad, but I am thinking about dropping my gearing a bit. Something like -1/+10 to -1/+15. I could be stock front and 20 up in the back and it would be the same gearing as now if that gives you a better idea. I'm gonna tear it down this winter, and repaint all the plastics a shiny gloss black, the rims and decals are all gonna be a red chrome vinyl and paint, along with a new set of 1-1/8 red anondized handlebars, red GPR stabilizer and custom triple from Bill at FullThrottleInc.net It should look really good, and be set up exactly like I want!!! I'll definately be posting pics of it when it gets done. I might even get some red anondized bits and peices to put on it(bolts/screws/oil cap/.......you know take a page outa the LPUSA catalog)
