Re: mdx cage beat up your shins

My shins never hit unless I'm doing stoppies, they're tapered on the top and the bottom, also if you didn't know the MXD won't hit until you're basically lowsiding on a stock bike, I've tried to at low speeds unsucessfully several times.

Re: mdx cage beat up your shins

heres the solution...go to walmart pickup one of those wet noodles the toy for the pool the realy long foam thing...cut a sction out, zip tie it around your cage and you will never again hurt your shins....if anyone was at stuntfest you may have seen mine...the bright green one on the red 929...

Re: mdx cage beat up your shins

The GSXR is much different than the 929/954. It simply has much more room where it bolts up. I've built a cage for a 954 and a GSXR1000. Being 6'4", you're at a disadvantage. I hit my shins (6'4" also), but my bro (6') fits fine on my 954. You figure out how to get around it though. It's not that big of a deal, just an adjustment.

Re: mdx cage beat up your shins

I hit my shins on my MXD cage on my 929 ALLL THEEEEEE TIME!!! You won't notice the MXD is there when you are doin wheelies or even no handed lock to lock circles b/c it has excellent ground clearance but damn, the second I sit down it hits right below my knees everytime and I'm only 5'10

Re: mdx cage beat up your shins

I wouldn't know. I ordered an MXD cage and Jeff told me it was in the mail. Still no cage and ever since he took my money, he won't email me back.

JEFF, IF YOU READ THIS, PLEASE GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!!! I DON'T WANT YOUR CAGE ANYMORE. IF YOU PUT IT IN THE MAIL LIKE YOU TOLD ME AND TONY, THEN I'D HAVE GOTTEN IT BY NOW.

Re: mdx cage beat up your shins

Why do the shins hurt so damn much when you hit them or get kicked?
