Angry New Sprockets for wheelies

1 tooth down in front and 2 teeth up in back....would this be to dramatic of a change if i wanted easier wheelies?

also if i topped at 160mph before how would this gearing effect my top end?

do they make a vortex sprocket for the front and rear of a 99 ZX7-R?

Thanks

1 Down...2 Up

1 Down and 2 up is the Ideal sproket conversion. You can do everything with it being stock. Seeing that you are on a pig/ZX7 that would probably be your best bet. Your top speed will obviously decrease, but unless you plan on drag racing it will not really matter.

top end

I have 2 up in the rear, and everyone was tellin me 1 down in the front would REALLY kill top end speed... like highway riding.. I dunno.

It all depend's on what you want to do.......if you want to stunt and ride the highway those gear's are sweeet. If your piece is a strait up stunta.......10 up 1 down=gangsta

I'm i down and 2up it does make a big difference in the easy of pulling the front end up. It does make a big difference on the top end side. But its not that bad for normal highway speeding.

CBOdmi, that's a good point about engine braking. I have 5 up on the CBR. Today when i was out I switched up with a friends bike who has stock gearing. I popped it up quick and then let off the throttle a little like I usually do but I almost sh*t my pants when the front wheel didn't drop like I expected .When you let off the throttle with shorter gearing it's almost like hitting the back brake.
