Re: *why dont people stunt r6's*

Hoenshell was on r6's, now hes on gixxers.....now quit arguing about it. I guess he went through alot of motors on the r6.

Back to the thread. There is a guy on this site named AA3/4 from AZ. He has a stock 03-04(not real sure what year, but its newer). He has the 05 frt end on it (inverted forks, radial brakes). Now when i say stock, i mean STOCK. no bar, no cage, stock sprockets. And this guy f*ckin kills it on that bike. Circles, stand up OR sit down, endos for days. Those of you that can do sit down O's know how much more difficult that would be on stock sprockets. The only thing he really has is frame sliders (remember those? lol).

r6's can be stunted, just be a little more careful with them

Re: *why dont people stunt r6's*

No doubt, the motor is strong, pulls nice, and can bog down. I loved the 2nd Gen I had.. highway **** was tight & the rear brakes never faded. Actually it used the same Nissin that F4i's use. Only complaint is the fairing stays, they brake without it being dropped. The tank is also a ***** to dent since it has the groved lines.

R6's suck for bar tricks.. and so do YZF's for that matter. They have a hose that goes from the rear of the gearbox straight to the intake. At 12 it pours oil into you Airbox and makes the motor smoke like a chimney.

People with TTR125s have the same problem, Brett256 has a fix for it though. I guess its a Yamaha thing.

Do what 929 and GXR riders do. Put a flat iron from the rear pasenger peg to the front peg for a 3rd brace for your subframe.
