CRF150 vs TTR125
I was at my friends house and he has a CRF150.
I started to ride it and I did a few stoppies and wheelies... I really liked it... It pulled up really easy. I got a few wheelies up to balance point in second gear. (Remember I'm new to stunting) out of every dirtbike I've ever ridden I liked this the most.
However, It didn't have much engine brake so I don't know how much that would effect me...
I hear alot that the TTR125 is the best for stunting though.. Why is that? Is it easier to wheelie? Why is everyone stunting them? I'm thinking about buying a dirtbike soon so its probably either gonna be a CRF150 or a TTR125.

Get a Honda and you should take Middleschoolers advice even though you may not like him much since he is pretty good on dirtbikes for being 15. Just my 2 cents

CRF150's are nice. I little heavier than the TTR but still nice. You still get a disc brake on the 150 and honda reliability. We would have bought crf's instead of ttr's but the price was to high on the 150's. ttr's will do everything you want and more

Re: CRF150 vs TTR125
I just bought an xr 80 and am having trouble getting used to it. I can wheelie a street bike at about 15 mph as long as my heart desires, but I can't do anything with the 80. I clutch up to balance point, but the bike always runs crooked one way or the other. Do you have any suggestions as techniques to keep the bike straight, set up, speeds to wheelie at, tire pressure, etc...?

If you already got street tires try lowering the pressure to around 15 psi.
Once you get used to things you can up it more

I've got the inline square block pattern as it seemed to be the smoothest tread profile I could find. When you are trying to straighten out/steer a wheelie, what works best? I try to twist the bike by the bars, and even weight the peg and don't get any results.

Should be a 16-inch in the rear.
If it is get one of these to make life easier:
Dunlop Gold Seal K127 (4.60-16)
Your stock tube should work fine with it... oh and your welcome
