Re: 12 bar and cage??

man!! i know you are in tx. but here in new orleans, this guy named teva!!
with outkastz built mine, and believe me it was way worth it!! i just dropped my bike hard, bounced off the 12 bar and slammed down on the cages!! and saved it pretty damn good!!! you can contact him at www.outkastzriders.com!!

i have spoken to many people who have used or still use 905s and they say that they break quite a bit!!
at stunt wars, i saw 2 guys with (freestyle ingenuity cages) drop their bikes (not even from a 12) and break their alternator covers and dump oil all over the track!!
if nothing else ask the guys locally that stunt all the time, what they use!! good luck!!

Re: 12 bar and cage??

the thing is, if you keep crashing over and over, any cage bend over time. i have a 905 and all i can say is ive dropped it a few times from 12 and the only thing that has broken so far has been my front brake lever

well the thing is, im one of just a hand full of people that are stunting and one of just 3 that is ahead of the rest. I built a 12 bar for another friends 03 gsxr then he got rid of it. But mostly was looking for a cage. I remember seeing a pic of one that when the bike was laid over it was almost at a 45* angle so it was easier to stand on it and do the circles with the bike on its side.

Also can the circles be done with the 905 and FI cages?

here a few pics of the 12 i built

Re: 12 bar and cage??

Never seen an MXD cage in person...

ive cartwheeled my 905 prepped bikes multiple times and they always hold up like a champ!!

not to mention their wheelie bars are primo.. fairring stays cant be touched and any other stunt fabrication you need they got or can do!

Re: 12 bar and cage??

every 905 product on my bike has been adjusted multiple times to get it exactly write.. as with any other stunter in socal..

IE:

you can order a kaneone replica 12 bar if you like the way mine has been changed, reinforced and angled to my liking... or a J-Beats style bar if you prefer the hidden rounded edged 12 bar underneath the plastics.. or a BS steeves style bar if super reinforcement 100+mph scrapes are your thing...

thats just my point. there are sooo many more products available through 905 that people dont even know about.. its like the secret menu at In and Out!!!

try the kaneone replica 636 fairring stay for instance.. 905 masterpeice in my opinion!!!
