Well I have never been pulled on a bike before, last Wednesday was my first day. I also have never had plates, but I actually put some on last Friday. I have been chased, but this time I didn't run since I had my plates on.

So I decided to make a fast run real quick from Omaha to Council Bluffs, IA on I-80. I punch it, not even thinking about cops. I then slow down as traffic got congested, this is around 8PM. All of the sudden I get pulled over. The cop tells me that I was going 156 in a 65. I am like no way, so I get a little pissy. I then start opening the back of my bike up to grab insurance and registration. He tells me don't bother, and I'm like, "Oh *****, I'm going to jail."

He tells me he recognizes the bike, he's buddy's with the guy who sold it to me. I'm like cool, yeah I bought it from an Omaha Police Sgt. He's like yeah we used to ride together. All he did was get my license, gave me a warning, and told me that he didn't mind the high speed runs but do it during the day cause cops cover the interstate at night.

This had to be the most pleasant pull over ever, if there is such a thing.

 

Damn man you got lucky, but a lot of the cops aren't on a power trip. People get pulled over by the cops on power trips cause they are out to prove somethin. The other ones just chill until somethin really bad happens. I hope that made sense.

 

Yeah, it's all good. I just hope next time it goes this well if I decide to actually pull over.

 

Just last weekend I was out with a friend at a local parking lot, just chilling having our fun off the streets. Some ******* calls the police with a report of us breaking into the store (sussans) and vandalizing the property. Anyway, I was half-way across the parking lot working on my stoppies when a bunch of unmarked civilian cars jumped the curb (gated parking lot) and came flying over to us. "WTF?!"... Well it was some off duty police officers guarding the local car dealerships. We weren't doing anything wrong, so I wasn't worried. Then my friend tells me he has a suspended license and no ID on him... Well the police laughed about it and said to get it fixed (it was for no insurance)... asked us if they could watch us do some stunts before they told us we would have to leave. They laughed as they told my friend, "Don't drive off without a license, but you guys need to be gone before we get back - don't leave, but be gone when we come back."

Not all police are asses about this stuff. Some actually enjoy watching and don't mind policing the crowd. On wednesdays up in spring, tx the sheriffs just hang out and watch the show. Everything is cool, after all it does keep everyone off the streets and out of the bars, so what are we hurting?
